It’s been a heartbreaking week for relief workers in Texas who have suffered unfathomable tragedies – and yet they have persevered and worked around the clock to help lost or injured pets, and reunite them with their families.
In the midst of all of this tragedy, Kerrville Pets Alive! recently received some very special artwork from local Texas children to encourage them in their search and rescue efforts. The artwork was posted on Facebook and is displayed below.
What a blessing, to see how even the tiniest hands can send love and inspiration when it’s needed most!
PAWS-BHM would love to fill our Texas-bound critical needs package with some special TLC by including drawings and artwork or notes of encouragement from families here in Alabama.
If you would like to add your family’s artwork to our care package set to ship this Saturday, please contact us by Friday, July 11th in order to coordinate pick up or delivery.

What a sweet way for kids to be included, encouraging their creative spirit to inspire “the helpers” with their art, so they learn to become helpers too!
Both Austin Pets Alive! and Kerrville Pets Alive! have posted several sweet reunion videos over the past few days – it’s wonderful to see some heartwarming stories emerge in the midst of so much tragedy!
