“CRAFTING FOR CRITTERS”
Thank you to every young volunteer who came to our June 2026 “Crafting for Critters” workshop at the Mt Laurel Library! The animals at Shelby Humane LOVE the enrichment toys you created!
Below are two videos of the animals enjoying their special handmade toys! There is also a collage showing which toy each adoptable pet received during their special playtime with us at the shelter.
Additionally, thanks to the generosity of our young volunteers and our very generous donors, we were able to provide 130 toys to Shelby Humane so that every single shelter dog received their own special toy during their “Pups, Pools, & Popsicles” event on July 1st!

We want to thank our donors who donated t-shirts, socks, and other supplies for this event through our recent “PAWS 2 Recycle” donation drives, as well as the Mt Laurel Public Library for hosting our event through their Summer Reading Program!
